Lotes grandes/buenisimo cerca de Boquete
About one and a half kilometres outside a sleepy Panamanian community by the name of Rovira Arriba is one of Panama?s best-kept secrets, a residential development called Roca Milagro. Infrastructure development is already underway and our earnest effort is to create one of the most beautiful and serene communities in the Boquete area.
Roca Milagro is situated on a 44 hectare (108 acre) parcel of land surrounded by hand-crafted rock walls built by German farmers and spectacular scenery. It is located just twenty-five minutes from Boquete, the famous ?mountain paradise? in Panama, and home to many expatriates and retirees from the United States, Canada and elsewhere. It also located just minutes from the town of Potrerillos. Several residential communities are under development in the Boquete area, but they are becoming prohibitively expensive for many people, and building sites with beautiful settings, scenery, and lots of space at a reasonable price have become difficult to find.
That?s where we come in. Our development is close enough to Boquete to enjoy the fine dining and cultural activities there, but far enough away so that one can enjoy true peace and tranquility in a community of large lots averaging from ½ acre to 1 acre in size, with streams, rivers, clean water, a beautiful well-tended orchard with hundreds of fruit trees (with ripe tropical mangoes, oranges, pineapple and more!), and miles of sparsely traveled shaded farm roads for horseback and mountain bike riding. And all of this is less than 30 minutes from David, Panama?s 3rd largest city.
Roca Milagro offers elevations of about 1,700 - 2,000 feet, with year-round temperatures between 68 - 88 degrees Fahrenheit. In Roca Milagro you are surrounded by nearly 270 degrees of beautiful mountain views, including Panama?s famed Volcan Baru, the peak of which offers one of the few locations in the world where one can enjoy simultaneous views of both the Pacific and Atlantic oceans on a clear day.
The Pacific Ocean is only an hour?s drive to the south, while three hours to the north (or an inexpensive 30 minute plane ride away) are the white sand beaches of the Caribbean, and access to Bocas del Toro, Panama?s prized Caribbean paradise.
Roca Milagro will offer residents full amenities such as high speed internet, stables for horses, a clubhouse overlooking the David river, outdoor gazebos and fireplaces, a guest house for visitors, and 24 hour security in a gated community.
Entertainment, health care and shopping are all available nearby, in Boquete and the larger city of David. Living costs in Panama are very low: A full-time gardener or maid can be employed for less than $200/month for instance. Moreover, our community offers peace and respite from an increasingly turbulent and unpredictable outside world. Roca Milagro is composed of a friendly group of expat and Panamanian founders with diverse and successful backgrounds who envision a tranquil community where individuals can freely pursue their ideal way of life. Roca Milagro offers you an opportunity to live close to the land and still enjoy all the conveniences of modern day life. It is a place where residents can spend the week horseback riding, hiking, dining and shopping in David and Boquete, tending organic gardens, and sipping wine on cooler evenings next to an outdoor fireplace in the orchard with neighbors. On the weekends, relax for a couple of days on pristine Caribbean or Pacific beaches or enjoy white water rafting and diverse eco tours.
Development at Roca Milagro is already underway. Internal roads and culverts and bridges over our streams are being built. Our gated entrance is almost complete. Water and electrical services are being installed. Anyone purchasing one or more lots in the project while it is still in development will get preferred prices on the first lot and volume discounts on additional lots. Panama is the retirement destination, for many very good reasons. Low taxes, a stable government, low prices, beautiful weather, and many other Canadians, Americans, and other expats to interact with in addition the very friendly and accomodating Panamanians.- these are only a few of the incentives to make Panama your new home, or home away from home during the cold North American winters.
